FACULTY OF HEALTHCARE AT THE EUROWEEK INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

29 April – 2 May Lithuania hosted the international Euroweek conference, bringing together students and researchers from 18 countries. Vilniuas kolegija / Higher Education Institution is the only higher education institution representing Lithuania at the conference. Rima Bagavičienė, a lecturer and member of the international mentor team, and Patricija Tomašun, a student of the KI23 degree programme in Physiotherapy, are also representatives of the Faculty of Health Care.

Patricija, together with Aušrine Pupšyte, a student of the Faculty of Agrotechnology, and students from Greece and Finland, under the guidance of the international mentor team, conducted a research and prepared a scientific article on “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Insurance Science”. The study used qualitative and quantitative research methods and a comparative analysis of data from three countries. The results were presented at the Euroweek conference.

The results of the research will be of theoretical and practical benefit to destinations in the insurance sector that aim to manage and assess insurance risks, develop insurance products that meet customer needs, increase customer satisfaction and loyalty, manage claims, ensure compliance with operational, legal, ethical and international standards, increase operational efficiency and competitive advantage through the integration of innovative technologies.
