From July 14 to 18, 2025, lecturer-practitioner Greta Jakutė, together with five second-year General Nursing students – Diana Urbanaic, Marija Dementjeva, Silvija Žeronaitė, Ingrida Malkovaitė, and Mindaugas Dulinskas – participated in a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Health Information Systems”, which took place at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto (ESEP) in Portugal.
The BIP programme focused on: nursing documentation and decision-making processes; the importance of classified language (ontology) in health information systems; innovative integration of theory and practice to improve patient care quality.
This mobility opportunity enabled participants not only to expand their professional knowledge but also to gain intercultural experience, enhance critical thinking, and prepare for future challenges in the healthcare field.
