Students took part in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Safety first – promoting responsible and safe choices in daily life” in Latvia.

SL23 students Anton Baranovskij, Diana Urbanaic, Kamila Kopiyka and RD23 student Greta Mulskytė took part in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Safety first – promoting responsible and safe choices in daily life” in Latvia.

The students found the training not only informative, but also very interactive – the participants had the opportunity to practice fire extinguishers, fire hose and firefighters’ breathing equipment, and to rescue people from fire and water. These hands-on activities helped to better understand the importance of safety in their daily and professional activities and encouraged to make more responsible choices.

After the training, the students had free time which they used to get to know Riga – an opportunity not only to learn but also to be culturally enriched. Students’ impressions are excellent! They recommend everyone to be brave and take advantage of ERASMUS opportunities!
