Students and a lecturer participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organized by Tartu Applied Health Sciences University

Students from the Faculty of Health Care and a lecturer, coordinator of the Student Scientific Association A.Kūgytė participated in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “How to Speak Research: Communication, Presentation and AI” organized by Tartu Applied Health Sciences University in connection with the 5th International Student Conference “Health in Our Hands”. The programme took place on 17–21 November, with virtual preparatory sessions held on 29–30 October 2025.

The following students attended the BIP and delivered oral presentations at the conference:

  • Domantas Skikas (RD24)X-Ray Illusions: The Hidden Danger of Radiology Artifacts (consulted by V.Andriusevičienė). Student awarded for outstanding thematic competence in the field of radiology.
  • Patricija Šostak (RD24)Health Effects of Ionizing Radiation During Medical Screening (consulted by V.Andriusevičienė).
  • Giedrė Gudelytė-Gudelevičiūtė (KI24), Viktorija Gulianova (KI24)Physical Activity During Menopause: Opportunities for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (consulted by PhD M.Žukauskienė).
  • Giedrė Vitkaitė (SL24)Organ Donation: Barriers and Strategies – A Systematic Literature Review (consulted by PhD Z.Kuzborska).

Students participated in the workshops and lectures focusing on academic presentation formats and the ethical, effective use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The programme also included various activities such as a city tour of Tartu, a guided tour of the Estonian National Museum, a University department tour, a cultural evening, and the university anniversary celebration events.
